Helene and Tim standing at the top of Victoria Peak, Hong Kong lookout

December 2009 standing at Victoria peak, Hong Kong

We recently took a break from the rat race and started a life long dream of traveling the world. We have had the good fortune of visiting strange corners of the world while piles of paper grew larger back at the office. Job cutbacks back home in Ottawa seemed like the perfect opportunity to take a package and hit the road. So, here we are.

About Tim:
Tim Fisher rarely takes himself seriously. Tim might just enjoy editing photos more than taking them, learning something new every day, and a good beer.

A communications professional by trade, Tim hasn’t always had a fun job. The strangest job Tim has ever had was crushing pepper corns into the peppered flakes you enjoy at the dinner table.

Places Tim would like to visit: Mount Everest and the Netherlands by bicycle.

About Helene:
Helene Grosjean is a happy go lucky gal.  She enjoys seeing cats, drinking beers, and never passes up an opportunity to photograph two different species together.

A travel agent by trade, Helene has dabbled in a few different paths including managing Dairy Queen, fixing cash registers and most recently being an administrative assistant.

While taking a sabbatical to travel the world, Helene hopes to perfect her Spanish and learn about cuisines from around the world.

Places Helene would like to visit: Egypt and Istanbul.
